Hello everyone! I am a transfer student and I am a junior. My major is adolescent education in English. I just got back from a month of travel which landed me in Toronto, Morocco, Spain, Montréal, and then Nashville ( I landed at home a few hours before our first class!) I am happy to be home and to start the semester with you all. I read a lot of great books while I was away.

Wow that’s so cool! I also love to travel and hope to do a lot of it when I finish school. I’ve been to England, Ireland, Italy and Canada. What were some of the books that you read while traveling?
I read A Dog’s Purpose, Proof of God, and The Woman in Cabin 10! All page turners!
Wow I would love to go to all those places. I only had a layover in Spain so all I got to see was the airport.
Spain was the best part, visit if you ever get a chance!
I’ve always wanted to visit Toronto!
Its beautiful and clean! And the people are very nice.
Hey Chelsie, I’m also a transfer. Are you getting used to the new atmosphere and living? And do you like Cortland so far?
I have done a semester at Cortland before so I am just quickly re-learning everything, best of luck to you, I hope you have been able to find all of your classes!
Hey Chelsie and Michael! I’m also a transfer! It’s my second semester! What was you reason for transferring to Cortland? If you dont already know, Long Island Bagel and Brix Pizza dowtown are great places to eat off campus!
Hey Chelsie, I’m Ryan and I’m a transfer student as well. What do you think the hardest part about adjusting to a new school is?
The lack of air conditioning!
Welcome to our class, Chelsie! Your month of travel sounds amazing (I’m also an avid traveler and I lived in Spain for 6 months). Would love to hear more about your adventures. Glad to have you in the class!
